On October 4th, 2012 The Embassy of Panama in Singapore hosted a cocktail reception at Marina Bay Sands Resort to celebrate the opening of its Segumar Singapore office.  In attendance were the top leaders in the maritime industry representing owners and managers.  The event was hosted by the Panama Ambassador to Singapore HE Jose A. Ruiz.  In attendance was the Panama Director of Merchant Marine Mr. Alfonso Castillero and The Director of Seafarers Jose R. Hernandez.  The event marked a huge milestone for the Panama flag as vessel operators and owners in SE Asia can now be serviced directly through the Singapore office.
